R.A.T.S. - Re-homing Animal Telephone Service - is a registered Animal Welfare Charity operating in the Bedfordshire area.
Our aim is to re-home the animals in our care into loving, secure homes so they can live out the remainder of their lives happily. Whilst in our care, every animal will receive any necessary veterinary treatment required.
It is our policy never to have a healthy animal put to sleep.
R.A.T.S. was formed in 1984 by a small group of dedicated animal lovers and continues today to be run entirely by volunteers.
We depend totally on fundraising events and donations from our members and the public to carry out our work of caring for dogs, cats and small mammals who are lost, abandoned or whose owners can no longer care for them.
