Meet Inga: Kennel Supervisor at RATS
At RATS, it’s the people behind the kennels who make the real difference. Volunteer Spotlight: Lulu Collins
Meet Lulu, one of our wonderful RATS Animal Rescue volunteers, who is celebrating her 40th birthday this February and ten years involved in rescue. Since joining RATS, she has become a valued part of our events team, supporting in-house events with her much-loved cookie stalls, running regular raffles through her beauty business, and helping to source auction prizes for quiz nights. A Christmas and New Year to remember
The festive season at RATS was, as always, a time of hard work, hope and heart-warming moments. Rescue never pauses for Christmas or New Year, and the weeks leading into 2026 were some of the busiest the charity had seen - but they were also filled with kindness, generosity and a few very special surprises.
