We have a wonderful band of fosterers, dog walkers and volunteers - without whom we would not be able to continue with our vital work rehoming animals.
Each and every one of these fantastic people help us to ensure that our animals, whilst waiting for their new FUR-ever homes, are cared for, loved and supported.
Our volunteers roles are diverse, and range from fostering cats and small mammals, walking and taking care of our dogs, to working in our charity shop, to catering or 'manning' a stall at our events.
But we are always looking for more people to become actively involved. So could you spare us some of your time?
Our Dog Section would welcome anyone who could spare an occasional hour or two to help walk our dogs. Our kennels are based in Hare Street, Near Buntingford, Hertfordshire and our location affords some very local nice walks. So why not get active and help exercise our dogs at the same time!
Fostering an animal is a very rewarding role and although we do have an excellent network of fosterers we do occasionally need further temporary dog, cat and small mammal fosterers - so if you fancy a rewarding challenge this maybe a role for you.
If you feel you cannot be 'hands on' with our animals, but you would like to become involved then perhaps you might be able to spare a few hours helping at our Fundraising Events, Dog Shows or even in our Biggleswade Charity Shop. We would be especially pleased to hear from anyone who could help us set up events, man a stall, or even turn their hand to some catering! Or perhaps if you enjoy small, friendly, retail environments the shop would be the ideal place to volunteer!
Help make a difference and sign up to volunteer today!
