Our Team

Linda

President

Linda has been a member of our charity for almost its entire lifetime and has been instrumental in rehoming many feral cats and kittens in that time! Linda also worked in our Bedford Shop [now closed] and been a regular stall holder at events, both our own and those run by others promoting the work of the charity.

Brian

Chairman

Before joining the Board, Brian had a long career in the health service and local government delivering key public health services. He brings valuable knowledge and skills in developing strategy, corporate governance and evaluating risk, along with understanding of the third sector and the regulation of it.

To Be Appointed

Finance

A new Treasurer will be appointed shorty.  They will keep track of all the money coming in and out of the charity, prepare the accounts and report these to the other Trustees and Committee.

Helen

Secretary

Helen is our Secretary, she is kept very busy dealing with enquiries via email. She also organises the Committee at meetings so everyone knows what they are doing! Helen is also very involved with our dog team, and volunteers at the kennels every week.

Clare

Events & Fundraising

Clare started her RATS journey as a volunteer dog walker at our kennels, but she now heads up our fundraising events, coming up with some marvellously weird and whacky ideas as well as more traditional campaigns.

Anjuli

Marketing, Media and PR

Anjuli heads up the marketing, media and PR team, overseeing areas such as social media, website and design. She also leads on fundraising campaigns, working closely on partnerships.

Paul

Retail

Paul holds the charity shop administrator role and is busy giving it a facelift. Paul also gets stuck in at every event and can be found doing everything from judging a dog show to manning the BBQ!

Zoe

Membership Communication, Small Mammal Team Member

Our Small Mammals Team Leader Zoe set up our Small Mammals Section over 30 years ago. Zoe actively fosters small mammals whilst they wait for their furever homes. In addition to looking after many of our small and furry friends, she also volunteers in our shop.
