The income from our sole charity shop is a lifeline for RATS Animal Rescue, enabling us to continue our vital work rescuing and rehoming animals.

New Charity Shop Opening in Ware
RATS Animal Rescue is excited to announce the opening of our new charity shop in Ware.
Opening date: Wednesday 1st April 2026
Opening time: 10am
Address: 77 High Street, Ware, SG12 9AD
Join us on opening day to browse our range of donated goods and enjoy a welcoming community atmosphere. A ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place at 12 noon, followed by refreshments. Donations of good-quality items are now being welcomed and can be dropped off at the charity’s kennels located at Highfield Kennels, Buntingford SG9 0AD daily between 9am and 12 noon.R

Volunteer with us
Our shop is entirely run by volunteers who generously give their time to help us sort, organise, and sell donated items. We simply couldn’t operate without them!
Are you a confident communicator with a warm, friendly attitude? If you’ve got a sense of humour and a bit of flexibility with your time, we’d love to have you on board.
You can help with sorting donations, serving customers, cleaning, or stocking shelves. Shifts are usually mornings or afternoons, and we’re open seven days a week.
No experience is needed - just bring your smile and love for animals!
