Olive
Age: Less Than a Year Old
Breed: Lurcher
Size: Large
Gender: Female

Meet Olive!
Brimming with Joy and Ready to Love 💖😍

Olive, a stunning brindle lurcher, arrived in our care recently through no fault of her own. At less than a year old, this gorgeous girl is full of life, full of love, and absolutely bursting with potential.

Olive literally brims with joy and greets everyone she meets with a wagging tail and a happy smile. Like any youngster, she still thinks the whole world is one big adventure – so she’ll need some patient lead training and gentle guidance as she grows. However, once she’s had her zoomies and some play in the field, she turns into the best sofa companion who just loves snuggling up for cuddles.

As Olive is such a friendly girl, she would love to share her home with children who will be able to give her lots of cuddles, join her on adventures and match her playful energy. She has not shown any signs of reactivity to the other dogs at the kennels, so we are happy that she can live with another dog in her new home.

Do you have the time, the energy and the love to give this special girl the happy new life she deserves? If you do, then please get in touch.

ADOPTION PROCESS

We have a number of animals in our care. Most are homeless through no fault of their own and are looking for furever homes and owners who can give them the love and attention they deserve.

Please take a few moments to familiarise yourself with our adoption process:

Step 1:

The animal is admitted into our care, and assessed by our team.

Step 2:

The animal is examined by a vet, who treats any ailments or injuries.

Step 3:

The appropriate team leader will liaise with the potential adopter to get to know them and assess whether they are a potential purr-fect match.

Step 4:

The potential new owners meet the animal, and decide if they want to adopt. New owners may be asked to visit the animal several times before the adoption takes place.

Step 5:

A pre-adoption home visit will then be made to new owners home to meet the members of the household and to ensure that the environment is safe.

Step 6:

If the visit goes well, you will be asked to collect the animal and to make an adoption donation (amount on request) as well as to sign an agreement to care for the pet with a commitment to return them to us if you can't continue to do so.
