Meet Kiki!
She’s Ready to Love Again -
Are you Ready for Her? 💖🤗
Kiki, a stunning lilac Pocket Bully, came into our care recently due to a change in her owner’s circumstances. She is seven years old and she had been much loved by her family, so we are absolutely committed to finding her a loving new home.
When she first arrived Kiki was confused, heartbroken, and too frightened to let anyone near her. She was understandably terrified as her whole world had been turned upside down. She was given a quiet kennel to decompress in her own time, with just our kennel manager Julie looking after her.
It didn’t take her long to bond with Julie and it is so lovely to see her beginning to relax. She is a very loving girl and she adores playing in the field and having cuddles on the sofa. Now that she has decompressed she is spending lots of time in the kitchen area of the kennels where she enjoys getting fuss and attention from the volunteers. She loves the toy box in the kitchen and we can often hear her rummaging around to find the best toy to play with.
We think that Kiki would do best in a quiet, adult only home where she can be the centre of someone’s world. She has not shown any signs of reactivity with the other dogs at the kennels, but we do think that Kiki would be best as the only pet in her new home. Several visits will be needed to our kennels near Buntingford so that her new family can really get to know her before they take her home.
Are you ready to give this gorgeous girl a second chance at happiness? You will be rewarded with a companion so faithful and loving that you’ll wonder how you ever lived without her.

ADOPTION PROCESS
We have a number of animals in our care. Most are homeless through no fault of their own and are looking for furever homes and owners who can give them the love and attention they deserve.
Please take a few moments to familiarise yourself with our adoption process:
Step 1:
The animal is admitted into our care, and assessed by our team.
Step 2:
The animal is examined by a vet, who treats any ailments or injuries.
Step 3:
The appropriate team leader will liaise with the potential adopter to get to know them and assess whether they are a potential purr-fect match.
Step 4:
The potential new owners meet the animal, and decide if they want to adopt. New owners may be asked to visit the animal several times before the adoption takes place.
Step 5:
A pre-adoption home visit will then be made to new owners home to meet the members of the household and to ensure that the environment is safe.
Step 6:
If the visit goes well, you will be asked to collect the animal and to make an adoption donation (amount on request) as well as to sign an agreement to care for the pet with a commitment to return them to us if you can't continue to do so.
