MasterChef Christmas Dinner for the RATS Rescue Dogs

This Christmas, we are delighted to welcome MasterChef Champion Dhruv Baker back once again to support RATS and our incredible rescue dogs. One year on, Dhruv remains deeply moved by the work we do and has kindly offered his time and expertise to prepare another festive meal for the dogs in our care who are still waiting to find their families.

Dhruv’s involvement is about far more than a Christmas lunch. At the heart of this event is ensuring every dog feels safe, loved and cared for while they wait with us. While the festive feast will bring comfort and joy, the wider aim is to raise vital funds that allow us to continue rescuing - from urgent and often life-saving veterinary treatment to the ongoing care needed by dogs arriving with nothing.

RATS is completely self-funded and this year has been especially challenging. Like many rescues, we continue to face rising veterinary costs alongside the daily expenses of food, heating and care. We are also working towards an important kennels redevelopment project - a vital step in creating a safer, warmer and more comfortable environment for the dogs whilst they remain in our care.
