Meet Bobby!
The Boy Who Loves You Before You’ve Even Sat Down! 🤗💖

Bobby, the most adorable four year old French Bulldog, recently came into our care as a stray. Bobby is a lively boy, but what he loves most of all is cuddles; he will climb up onto your shoulder and he has a thing about people’s ears. Bobby has a wonderful little habit of nuzzling and softly nibbling the ears of people he loves. Once you’ve experienced a Bobby snuggle it is impossible not to smile.

When Bobby first arrived in our care he seemed to be good with other dogs. However, he has started to become a little dog reactive, particularly with some male dogs. Like many dogs, kennel life has been a lot for him – it is noisy, busy and a world away from a cosy home – so he has become a little selective about the male dogs he chooses to befriend. We still think that Bobby can potentially live with another dog, but this will be subject to careful introductions at our kennels near Buntingford. As he can be a little reactive towards other male dogs, we think that he would prefer to have a lady friend for company.

Bobby can live with cats and as he’s such a friendly little chap we are happy that he can live with children. We’d recommend a home with children aged five and over, simply because Bobby is a sturdy, enthusiastic soul who throws himself into life with great gusto – including on walks, where he can be very strong.

Are you looking for a new best friend who is certain to become your faithful and most cuddly companion? Please get in touch so that we can find this wonderful boy his forever home.

ADOPTION PROCESS

We have a number of animals in our care. Most are homeless through no fault of their own and are looking for furever homes and owners who can give them the love and attention they deserve.

Please take a few moments to familiarise yourself with our adoption process:

Step 1:

The animal is admitted into our care, and assessed by our team.

Step 2:

The animal is examined by a vet, who treats any ailments or injuries.

Step 3:

The appropriate team leader will liaise with the potential adopter to get to know them and assess whether they are a potential purr-fect match.

Step 4:

The potential new owners meet the animal, and decide if they want to adopt. New owners may be asked to visit the animal several times before the adoption takes place.

Step 5:

A pre-adoption home visit will then be made to new owners home to meet the members of the household and to ensure that the environment is safe.

Step 6:

If the visit goes well, you will be asked to collect the animal and to make an adoption donation (amount on request) as well as to sign an agreement to care for the pet with a commitment to return them to us if you can't continue to do so.
