Meet Pudding!
A Christmas Miracle Waiting for Her Forever Home 💖🤗
Just two days before Christmas this adorable Pocket Bully came into our care as stray. We named her Pudding and we believe that she is around two years old.
When she arrived in her care she had a very swollen ear. This was diagnosed as an aural haematoma, which is extremely painful and which needed urgent treatment. Thanks to her loving foster family, she’s now healing beautifully and is ready to find her forever home.
Pudding loves her toys, especially a ball, which she loves to throw in the air. She adores her walks and her recall is excellent. When she is out she loves to run, so she needs an active family to match her zest for life. She is a clever girl and she enjoys learning new things; she’s done some target training and she has just started scentwork, which she really enjoys.
Pudding has no issues with food and shows no signs of guarding food or toys. Her friendly, trusting nature suggests she’d thrive with older children who will be able to cope with her exuberance. She does get over aroused when there are visitors to the house and for this reason we think she would probably be better off as the only dog in her new home.
When she first arrived in our care she did suffer from some separation anxiety, but her foster family have worked on this and she can now happily be left for a couple of hours. Ideally her new family will have someone at home most of the time, because she loves company and wants nothing more than to be snuggled up on the sofa with her person.
Do you have a Pudding sized space on your sofa and lots of time for country walks and energetic activities? If you do, then Pudding could be the perfect companion for you.

ADOPTION PROCESS
We have a number of animals in our care. Most are homeless through no fault of their own and are looking for furever homes and owners who can give them the love and attention they deserve.
Please take a few moments to familiarise yourself with our adoption process:
Step 1:
The animal is admitted into our care, and assessed by our team.
Step 2:
The animal is examined by a vet, who treats any ailments or injuries.
Step 3:
The appropriate team leader will liaise with the potential adopter to get to know them and assess whether they are a potential purr-fect match.
Step 4:
The potential new owners meet the animal, and decide if they want to adopt. New owners may be asked to visit the animal several times before the adoption takes place.
Step 5:
A pre-adoption home visit will then be made to new owners home to meet the members of the household and to ensure that the environment is safe.
Step 6:
If the visit goes well, you will be asked to collect the animal and to make an adoption donation (amount on request) as well as to sign an agreement to care for the pet with a commitment to return them to us if you can't continue to do so.
