Leeda
Age: 9 Years
Breed: Spaniel X Staffie
Size: Medium
Gender: Female

Meet Leeda!

Lovely Leeda is a gentle senior lady, looking for a home where she will have cuddles and affection on tap.

She’s a 9 year old Spaniel X Staffie, who is the sweetest, friendliest little love. She has a beautiful nature and she loves a snuggle. Even better if you let her squeeze onto your lap! She’s also playful and she enjoys long, sniffy walks. Fetch and tug are her favourite games and she’d be very happy to share her home with children over 10 years old.

Leeds is also great with other dogs so she’d make a fabulous addition to a multi-dog household. However, she would also be fine as an only pet. She hasn’t lived with cats or small furries before.

You’ll notice from the photos that Leeda came to us with sore skin from untreated allergies. She is now under the care of our vet and we’re making good progress. She is likely to need allergy medication for the rest of her life and she has responded very well to her current treatment.

Do you have a little space on your sofa for this beautiful soul? Please get in touch!

ADOPTION PROCESS

We have a number of animals in our care. Most are homeless through no fault of their own and are looking for furever homes and owners who can give them the love and attention they deserve.

Please take a few moments to familiarise yourself with our adoption process:

Step 1:

The animal is admitted into our care, and assessed by our team.

Step 2:

The animal is examined by a vet, who treats any ailments or injuries.

Step 3:

The appropriate team leader will liaise with the potential adopter to get to know them and assess whether they are a potential purr-fect match.

Step 4:

The potential new owners meet the animal, and decide if they want to adopt. New owners may be asked to visit the animal several times before the adoption takes place.

Step 5:

A pre-adoption home visit will then be made to new owners home to meet the members of the household and to ensure that the environment is safe.

Step 6:

If the visit goes well, you will be asked to collect the animal and to make an adoption donation (amount on request) as well as to sign an agreement to care for the pet with a commitment to return them to us if you can't continue to do so.
