Meet Bobby!
Beautiful puppy Bobby was surrendered into our care at less than a year old when his owner realised that he wasn’t able to cope with a lively puppy. We are not sure of Bobby’s exact breed mix; he has a beautiful black and tan coat that is quite wiry and although he looks a bit like a Jack Russell, he is going to be quite a lot bigger when he is fully grown.
What we do know is that he is an absolutely adorable bundle of energy. In fact his whole body wiggles when he is given fuss and attention. He radiates joy and he loves everybody he meets. We don’t think that Bobby has had any training, so his new owners will need to work with him to show him the ropes; he’s smart and eager to please so it will be really rewarding to watch him learn and flourish.
Bobby gets on well with other dogs at the kennels and we are confident that he can live with children. However, he hasn’t been tested with cats or small mammals.
Do you have lots of love to give and lots of energy for fun, playing and training? If so, Bobby could be just the boy for you.

ADOPTION PROCESS
We have a number of animals in our care. Most are homeless through no fault of their own and are looking for furever homes and owners who can give them the love and attention they deserve.
Please take a few moments to familiarise yourself with our adoption process:
Step 1:
The animal is admitted into our care, and assessed by our team.
Step 2:
The animal is examined by a vet, who treats any ailments or injuries.
Step 3:
The appropriate team leader will liaise with the potential adopter to get to know them and assess whether they are a potential purr-fect match.
Step 4:
The potential new owners meet the animal, and decide if they want to adopt. New owners may be asked to visit the animal several times before the adoption takes place.
Step 5:
A pre-adoption home visit will then be made to new owners home to meet the members of the household and to ensure that the environment is safe.
Step 6:
If the visit goes well, you will be asked to collect the animal and to make an adoption donation (amount on request) as well as to sign an agreement to care for the pet with a commitment to return them to us if you can't continue to do so.
