Meet Ada
The Gentle Soul Who Deserves a Second Chance 🤗💖
Beautiful Ada came into our care recently as a stray. We believe that she is around two years old and whilst she looks like a Cane Corso she is very small for the breed, so she could well be a cross.
Ada fits the definition of a cuddle monster perfectly! She adores people and loves snuggling up for some fuss, whilst making the cutest little snuffling noises. She loves a treat too and takes them with the gentlest mouth imaginable.
We don’t know anything about Ada’s past and we don’t even know if she has ever been out for a walk. She went on her first walk recently and she did really well. Our kennels are situated on a busy road and she was initially nervous of the traffic going by. However, with some reassurance she managed fine and once she was out across the fields she had the most fabulous time mooching along and having a good old sniff. She travels well in the car too.
Ada has been great with the other dogs at the kennels and her new bestie is our Mastiff X Honey. They are inseparable playmates in the field, where they love running around together. This sweet-natured girl would thrive living with another similar sized dog and she is gentle enough to share her home with children.
All Ada is looking for is a family to call her own. She’s not asking for much: peaceful sniffy walks where she can explore at her own pace and a comfy sofa where she can curl up beside you for endless cuddles.

ADOPTION PROCESS
We have a number of animals in our care. Most are homeless through no fault of their own and are looking for furever homes and owners who can give them the love and attention they deserve.
Please take a few moments to familiarise yourself with our adoption process:
Step 1:
The animal is admitted into our care, and assessed by our team.
Step 2:
The animal is examined by a vet, who treats any ailments or injuries.
Step 3:
The appropriate team leader will liaise with the potential adopter to get to know them and assess whether they are a potential purr-fect match.
Step 4:
The potential new owners meet the animal, and decide if they want to adopt. New owners may be asked to visit the animal several times before the adoption takes place.
Step 5:
A pre-adoption home visit will then be made to new owners home to meet the members of the household and to ensure that the environment is safe.
Step 6:
If the visit goes well, you will be asked to collect the animal and to make an adoption donation (amount on request) as well as to sign an agreement to care for the pet with a commitment to return them to us if you can't continue to do so.
