~ Volunteer Cat Fosterer Needed ~

Foster home splay an invaluable part in the rehoming process. No only does it make the animal happier but also helps prepare them for normal family life. R.A.T.S. is a small charity run solely by volunteers and relies heavily on generosity from the public and fosterers are such a huge help to our work. Becoming a foster carer for resuce animals is hard work but the rewards are enormous.

~ Small Mammals Team need donations of... ~

Waterproof covers and newspapers are required for rabbit and guinea pig hutches. Please bring along to any fundraising event or contact Zoe on 01234 342150.

~ Volunteers needed to help at Fundraising Events / Dog Shows ~

Could you spare a few hours each month to help out at one of our fundraising evetns or open days? We would be grateful for help on our refreshments stall, serving teas and coffees, sandwiches and cakes etc. Donations of cakes to sell at these events are also much needed. ~ Volunteer Maintenance person needed at Highfields ~

Do you have a day or half a day spare each week to heop with general maintenance at Highfields our Kennels near Buntingford? If so we woudl be grateful for your time. Highfields is solely run by volunteers and the work required to maintain this property is constant. Regular help is needed with weeding, grass cutting, painting and general repairs. If you feel you could help in any way please contact Mandy or Walter on 01763 289688.

~ Volunteer Dog walkers needed for weekdays at Highfields ~

If you wnat to get some fresh air into your lungs, and improve your fitness, then why not help out R.A.T.S. at the same time? We are currently looking for volunteers to help walk and socialise some ofthe homless hounds being looked after at Highfields. The kennels are surrounded by miles of stunning countryside offering good walks for all. Could you spare an hour a week? It doesn't need to be on a regular day, all you need to do is call beforehand.
