Animals for Adoption

Appeals & News

There’s No Place like Home for Homeless Cats:

Local animal charity Rehoming Animals Telephone Service (R.A.T.S) is asking the people of Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire to come forward to volunteer as foster carers for their rescue cats.

Ideally, cat fosterers will need to foster several cats at once, with the possibility of having a small cattery in the garden to accommodate them.

Lisa Graham, R.A.T.S volunteer, said: “Foster homes play an invaluable part in the rehoming process. Not only does it make the animal happier but also helps prepare them for normal family life. R.A.T.S is a small charity run solely by volunteers and relies heavily on generosity from the public and fosters are such a huge help to our work. Becoming a foster carer for rescue animals is hard work but the rewards are enormous.”

If you think you have what it takes to become a foster carer and would like to find out more, please get in touch with R.A.T.S.
