Can You Help to Home an Older Cat?
Everyone likes kittens (and puppies come to that) as they romp around, play and are just adorable.
However, a very young animal does not always fit well into a life-style. Kittens have claws, which, when very young, they are unable to retract and end up hooking your best cashmere jumper or running up your leg and messing up your fishnets(!!) or running up the curtains and pulling threads from them. Then there is the added expense of neutering, which should be done to either sex at about six months old.

Young cats - 3-4 years old or even a little older - still love to play and race around and are very loveable. They don’t normally spoil your clothes or curtains and have been neutered, so saving you the job. Nowadays cats live on average 14 years - quite a few make it to around 20, which is no doubt due to good nutrition, good medical care etc. etc.
So give the young cats a chance - they could give you a good 11 years of love and affection or even more, all they are asking for is a loving home to call their own.
